Born and raised in Hampton Roads, I am well connected and have lived in all five southside cities. I hold a Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration from Old Dominion University and have been an integral part of numerous community taskforces and boards

After successfully running a regional nonprofit, I began my encore career in real estate in 2014. My desire to transition to a REALTOR was based on my mutual love of real estate and renovations while continuing to assist individuals in their personal and family goals. I have achieved the Howard Hanna Champions Club status, the Circle of Excellence from the Hampton Roads Realtors Association and the Spark Plug award from my peers for Positive Mental Attitude, Willingness to Help, Good Humor, Enthusiasm, Loyalty and Integrity – also key values of my real estate practice.

A primary area of my real estate practice has been home renovations prior to going to market – both with investors and especially with heirs and families going through the estate process, as well as those looking to downsize after having lived in their homes many years. I take the guess work out of determining the best return on investment, working with contractors and marketing your home in the best light possible with an eye to attract both buyers and strengthen the appraisal process.

I currently reside in the West Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk where I raised my three children as a single mother and are currently raising my rescue kitties. Community involvement has always been a key part of my life and career. I remain active in the Westover Garden Club (Past President), St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (Past Warden) and consultant for the Chas Foundation. I have received the following awards for my community involvement: Top 50 influential people of Hampton Roads by Coastal Virginia Magazine, Inside Business’ Women in Business Award and the Lenora Mathews Lifetime Achievement Award by VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads. I regularly sponsor local events that support our community such as the annual West Ghent Tree Lighting. In my spare time, I am a fine art oil landscape painter and have participated in juried local shows, held private shows at Starving Artist Café and have produced commissioned artwork.
